BIO

She began her artistic studies in the Musical Theater degree in the School of Comedia Musical de Luis Trochón. After she studies in Mexico and New York City at “The American Academy of Dramatic Arts” attending to Musical Theater and Acting intensive programs. 

She attended to Acting on camera with the ABC director Jhon Ort in NYC and then completed 2 years of  “Acting for Camara” at La Escena, in Uruguay and attended to the tree levels of Meisner Technique.

As singer she trained with Wendy Parr (NYC), Sara’s Bareilles Vocal coach, also Grammy winner for the Slumdog Millionaire Soundtrack.

She also became a student of Rachael Lawrence (Glee cast vocal coach) and attended one year to private classes with the famous classical singer Eiko Senda.

As Vocal Coach she completed the Vocal Coach program with Lisa Haupert (LA) and the intensive “Professional use of the voice” at the Catholic Uruguayan University. 

As Meditation Instructor she studied at the “Escuela de desarrollo Transpersonal” (Spain) and has several courses in Minfullnes, Reiki, Akashic Records and Dowsing in Uruguay. 

Her thesis about Meditation it’s focus in unlocking the artistic expression to reach a higher potential. She’s taught this to groups of 100 young singers, dancers and actors at International musical theater congresses for two years and also at academies like: “Estudio Jump” and “La escuela de la Voz”.

She has a Fashion Designer Degree from the ORT University and a diplomat in “Drawing and Observation” from the Iberoamericana University in México. 

She attended to an intensive program about “Scenic production” with Gustavo Schraier and has worked as casting director for plays, tv shows and short films with Independent productions. 

Professional Artistic EXPERIENCE: 

WRITER and COMPOSER

As writer and songwriter received a few awards fot the co-writing and the co-composition of the Musical Play: “Guau! Un Musical de Pelos” – It won 3 Florencio Awards – Best Music, Best Direction, Best Musical. It also got the National Developing arts Award and Fond in 2016 for a 3^rd season.

As Composer and vocal arranger, worked and collaborate in plays as; “La granja que canta” y “Yo voy conmigo” (Dir. Avo Pérez) and “Tercia de Reinas” (Dir. Virginia Ramos)

VOCAL COACH and SINGER:

She has 8 years of professional experience as vocal coach and worked as Teacher in many academies for amateur programs and preffessional degrees like: “Goove”, “MAD”, “La Escena” and “The school of the Voice”. The last two years she’s been mostly working in vocal cords recovery from injuries with professional artists. 

As singer she was accepted in the Cirque du Soleil as potential artist. After she took private lessons with the Cirque du Soleil talent hunter and Coach, Séverine Parent, and organizes with her a workshop for professional singers in Uruguay about her Vocalery Tecnique.

As singer and proucer she also participated in various shows such as: “Martes de Broadway”, animations with “The Crew” and “The E- Compañy Show”, at the SODRE auditorium. 

ACTING:

As musical Theater and Theater performer she’s been part of: “No hablaré de mi Amor” (also writer and producer), “El equipo mágico”, “Una naranja, una ciruela y una caja de físforos”, “8 catorce” y “Una historia más” (also as the band musical direction)

As actress she had a rol in the movie “Joao: o Maestro” (Brasilien/Uruguayan co production) Directed by: Mauro Lima and starring by Alexandre Nero. The movie opened the Punta del Este Cinema Festival in  2018.

PRODUCTION: 

The last 8 years was part of the Staff , a non profit organization called Musicales UY, who generates the “International Musical Congresses in Uruguay” and gives scholarships to young artist from Latin-America to peruse their studies in NYC and LA. (Actyn and Livin’ Broadway Scholarship programs)
